SOMEWHERE FAR REMOVED is a plant and flower waiting patiently. To be discovered. Somewhere far removed? Yes, because it is hard to find, and it grows in the waters – in the still or slow-moving waters. It is no other than The Sacred Lotus, Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn. Those on the spiritual path know of it and seek it. The plant is an icon of divinity, holding within secrets, some perhaps yet unknown to humankind. It is time, however, to reveal this knowledge gradually.

Let us consider global warming and climate change. The ONE key feature that strikes us all concerning this is - the WATERS ARE MOVING! Be it the retreating glaciers, the raging rivers that spill over as catastrophic floods, and the storm surges and floods accompanying hurricanes and cyclones. Thus far, the general opinion has been to urgently cut back on fossil fuel use to reduce the CO2 emissions that have caused the Earth to warm up.

Might we not consider another angle - a new angle to the retreat of glaciers and climate change?

To create all over the world Spiritual Vibrational Fields of Deep Stillness - of Sacred Lotus Ponds and Lakes - where ever they can and should be built. The immense power of deep spiritual stillness emanating from lotus ponds and lakes can be the hopeful and perhaps even the support Humanity needs.
